Hard Disk RecoveryOnce we are in possession of your hard drives or media, our first step is to make duplicate copies of them. This eliminates any potential risk to the integrity of your data. We examine each drive sector individually and recover the data in each in our top notch clean room facilities. The recovered data is then queued in sequence to be returned to the original hard drive or media that you have selected. For emergency requests, the data recovery transfer will receive top priority. Upon the recovery of your data, it will be returned to you on the original hard drives if they are repairable. If the original drive cannot be repaired the retrieved data will be returned either on a new hard drive or any form of portable media available. Depending on the original format, recovered media data is generally returned on CD-R, Zip, Jaz Cartridge or tape media. As an extra precaution, we keep a copy of the data we have retrieved for 11 business days in case any difficulties should arise. It is our policy that once our clients have informed us of a successful reinstallment, all hard drive content will be completely removed from our data banks. Alternatively, you can take advantage of our CD duplication techniques to make storage media backups to prevent data loss in the future.
